Before First Use: 1. Wash the pan with warm, soapy water. 2. Sprinkle the pan with oil and distribute evenly with a sponge. 3. Heat the pan on the stove for about 3 minutes, allowing the oil to be absorbed. 4. Clean the pan with kitchen paper to remove excess oil.
Basic Crepe Recipe for Vinchef Fans Whisk together 1 cup all-purpose flour, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup water, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 2 tablespoons melted butter until smooth. Heat a lightly oiled crepe pan over medium-high heat. Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the pan, tilting to coat the surface evenly. Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes, until the bottom is light brown. Loosen with a spatula and flip to cook the other side. Serve hot.
